Historical Staffordshire Blue Soup Tureen La Grange Lafayette Residence
Historical Staffordshire blue soup tureen with La Grange Lafayette’s Residence. The main body of the tureen is LaGrange and the tray is Vue Du Chateau Ermenonville. Made by Enoch Wood & Sons circa 1825. The tray measures 10 3/4” by 14” and the tureen stands 12 1/4” sitting on the tray. It’s in pretty incredible condition with a small chip on the underside of one handle and also there is some kiln burn on the underside of the handles. Nothing that detracts from it while it’s displayed. Certainly would make a nice centerpiece to your collection. In 40 years of specializing, we have only seen a few of these tureens.
