Historical Staffordshire blue plate with medallion of Lafayette reading “Welcome Lafayette The Nations Guest  and our Country’s Glory”. Made by Clews circa 1825. Very nice embossed border with blue rim. In perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It measures 8 5/8”.
