Historical Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool Creamer Washington Memorial
Historical Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool creamer with Washington’s Tomb and Lady Liberty holding a shield. Also in the foreground a eagle holding a shield. A scarce transfer that is very rare and is just something that you don’t see. In excellent condition with no repairs. Just shows some minor staining. It measures 3 1/2” tall by 6 5/8” from the tip of the spout to the handle and dates circa 1800. If you collect early Washington items, I can bet you probably don’t have one of these. We have seen this transfer on some plates and pitcher but can’t recall another creamer. Creamers in Liverpool are quite scarce in their right.
