Made by hand using the "lithography" transfer process where and original is painstakingly carved into stone. The stone is then inked and a sheet of paper pressed to transfer the image onto paper. The image was then hand colored with watercolors by Currier's skilled artisans.

Hand-Created in the Mid to Late 1800s.
