Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool Pitcher Polychrome U.S. Ship Nabby Washington Memorial with Chain of States
Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool Pitcher with Polychrome U.S. Ship Nabby, Washington Memorial with chain of states on reverse and original owners initials in a cartouche with Eagle/shield under the spout. There was a shipped named “The Nabby” that was known as a slave ship. It’s hard to trace if this was the actual ship. There will be some research that will accompany the pitcher. In good condition with some professional hairline repairs and some scuffing on the Washington transfer. Still a nice looking Liverpool pitcher. It measures 8” from the tip of the spout to the handle by 9 1/8” tall and dates circa 1800.
